How to access webmail in cpanel

Webmail is the option provided by most web hosts to access the emails. The most popular webmail clients provided are HordeRoundCube and Squirrel mail. There are number of ways to access Webmail.

  1. You can access the webmail via cPanel.
  2. You can access the webmail via direct url too.

Access the webmail in cPanel:

  1. Login into cPanel.
  2. Click on the Email Accounts icon located in the Email section.
  3. Click More in the row that corresponds to the email account for which you wish to access Webmail.

  5. The email account will open in your browser then enter the password and Click Log In.
  6. Select the webmail application that you want to use.
  7. That’s it.You have now accessed your email through cPanel.

Access Webmail in cPanel

If your domain has been pointed to your server, you can access webmail by typing any of the following URLs into your browser’s address bar. This direct link webmail access is mainly for email users who don’t have the cPanel access.

To access webmail, perform the following steps:

Choice 1:
http://webmail.yourdomainame.com
Choice 2:
http://yourdomainname.com:2095
Choice 3:
http://yourdomainname.com/webmail

You can also access the webmail over an encrypted connection. In this case you have to change your port number to 2096 and protocol to https.

1. Then Enter your email address.
2. Enter your password.
3. Click Log in.

Accessing Webmail in cPanel using RoundCube, Horde & SquirrelMail:

You can also directly access the webmail client through their direct url.

RoundCube:

https://www.yourdomainname.com:2096/3rdparty/roundcube/index.php

Horde:

https://www.yourdomainname.com:2096/horde/index.php

SquirrelMail:

https://www.yourdomainname.com:2096/3rdparty/squirrelmail/index.php
